We are Kin. Our work is about people, the spaces between them and their connections to the world around them.
Kin was founded in 2008 by Kevin Palmer and Matt Wade. Between us we have over 20 years experience in the Design Industry, working at the highest level of Europe's most respected Design Companies. Previous to Kin, Kevin was Creative Director of digital communications at
Imagination – Europe's largest and most successful independent design company, and Matt was design director of
Moving Brands. We founded Kin with the belief that there is opportunity to develop smaller more agile approach to Art Direction and Interaction Design, working at both a strategic and solutions level.
Over the last year, we have created interactive retail experiences for
Tommy Hilfiger and
Barclays Flagship Piccadilly; designed and installed interactive installations for
IBM and the
Fragmented Orchestra; created films for Diesel and
Kylie Minogue; written research papers for Nokia; taught at
Goldsmiths, and the
Dublin Institute of Technology & Design; featured in 2 books, the Design Press, and The Guardian; and set up 100 balloons with LED lights in the Canadian Forest for a photoshoot.
